Directorate "Port Administration - Rousse" spreads over country's river space limited between 374,100 (Bulgarian-Rumanian border) to 645 kilometer of the Bulgarian space of the Danube river.

Directorate "Port Administration - Rousse":

• Controls ports and port activities in order to provide safety, operational  suitability and security;
• Controls the implementation of the programs on the maintenance and development of the public transport ports and the condition of the public state ownership;
• Ensures updating of registers;
• Controls the observation of the conditions and the order to submit statistical information.
